Question Bank Structure
The platform includes Biology and Chemistry test items from “A Handbook of Biology and Chemistry Test Items”, published by MU–Varna (2022). The questions are organised into the following sections:
Section A: Multiple-Choice Questions
Four possible answers are provided for each question. Candidates must select only one correct answer.
Section B: Gap-Filling Questions
Each test item contains four missing words or terms. In this section, candidates are required to supply the most appropriate words or terms to complete the statements.
Section C: Matching Questions
Candidates are required to match each item from Column 1 with the corresponding item from Column 2.
Section D: True/False Questions
These questions require candidates to determine whether the given statement is true or false.  

Question Types Not Included in This Platform
The official entrance examination also includes Section E: Definitions and Explanations, in which candidates must explain specific biological and chemical concepts, processes, or principles and provide examples when required. These open-ended questions are not part of the online platform. However, they are included in “A Handbook of Biology and Chemistry Test Items” (printed and eBook editions) published by MU–Varna and appear in the official entrance examination. Applicants are strongly advised to practise these questions using the printed or electronic versions of the handbook.  

Organisation of the Questions
The Biology questions are organised into major subject areas in accordance with the secondary-school curriculum, including: Cell Biology Molecular Biology and Genetics Human Anatomy and Physiology Ecology and Evolution   The Chemistry questions are organised into major subject areas in accordance with the secondary-school curriculum, including: General and Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.   The system allows you to generate a final test that follows the official entrance examination format.  

Final Test Structure:
The final test includes
35 questions from Section A
2 questions from Section B
2 questions from Section C
2 questions from Section D
 
After Completing a Test, You Will See:
the total number of correct answers;
the correct answers for all questions included in the test.

The online Biology and Chemistry tests are intended as a supplementary self-study tool. They should be used alongside textbooks, study guides, and additional learning resources. Regular practice will help you become familiar with the examination format and strengthen your understanding of core concepts in Biology and Chemistry. The official entrance examination also includes open-ended tasks (Section E: Definitions and Explanations), which require separate and focused preparation.
